Right-of-Way Workers

Hart Electric Membership Corporation has positions available in the Hartwell Office for Right-of-Way Workers. Job duties include but are not limited to: trimming and clearing of Right-of-Way of the Distribution and Transmission System. Education and Experience: Requires High School Diploma/Equivalent. Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Right-of-Way clearing. Prefers experience with Right-of-Way clearing around energized power lines. Requires ability to climb trees, to properly operate a tractor and bush cutter; perform master rigging and take-down skills. Requires proficiency in using and repairing power tools. Requires the ability to have and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License, and a Georgia Commercial Driver’s License or Commercial Driver’s License Learner’s Permit, and a CDL Medical Card. Prefers a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Requires residency within Hart EMC’s service area.
