Outage Notifications

Do you like being in the know? Sign-up to get outage notifications via text a message (SMS) or email!

Give us a call @ 800-241-4109 and one of our friendly folks will sign you up 24/7/365. I know you are going to ask why I have to call instead of doing it online. To avoid forcing you to create an online account, which would be a good thing, we need to be sure who you are and the safest way is to talk to you.

What you will need to know to sign up.

• What name your account is in.
• Your account number(s) would be very helpful, but not required.
• The email address you want the notification sent to.
• Your mobile number for text messages (standard text message rates apply). You will be sent an opt-in message which you must reply to start receiving notifications.

What messages will I get? You will receive two different outage messages. One will notify you when we have enough reports of the outage to start the repair process. The other will notify you when power has been restored.

Important Note: SMS or text messages will show as coming from the number 352-667. If you would like to see “Hart EMC” as the sender, make a contact on your device with our number and name.
