OUTAGE NOTIFICATIONS

Stay informed during power outages with Hart EMC’s outage notification service. Receive outage alerts, restoration updates, and important service information directly to your mobile phone by text message.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Eligible members are automatically enrolled to receive outage text notifications using the mobile phone number associated with their account. If you need to update your mobile phone number or have questions about your enrollment, please call Hart EMC at 800-241-4109.

WHAT INFORMATION WILL I NEED?

When you contact us to update your information, please be prepared to provide:

    •Your account number (helpful, but not required)
    •Your mobile phone number

WHAT NOTIFICATIONS WILL I RECEIVE?

Members enrolled in outage notifications may receive:

• • •An outage alert when Hart EMC becomes aware of an outage affecting your location
  • •Restoration updates as crews work to restore service
    • A notification when power has been restored
  • •Important service announcements when applicable

Outage notifications will be sent from Hart EMC’s phone number, 800-241-4109.

We recommend saving this number in your mobile phone contacts so you can easily recognize outage-related messages from Hart EMC.
