On average, you will contribute $6 a year \u2014 a small amount to help worthy causes in our community. It works out to be less than the cost of one soft drink, candy bar or cup of coffee a month. This small, monthly contribution can make a huge impact.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Hart EMC Foundation<\/a>\u00a0was created to disperse the money collected by Operation Round Up\u00ae.<\/p>\n Request for assistance will be evaluated and grants awarded by a separate board of directors, made of volunteer members from\u00a0Hart EMC\u00a0counties.<\/p>\n The primary purpose of\u00a0Operation Round Up\u00ae\u00a0is to address the charitable needs and financial assistance anywhere in the counties served by Hart EMC. One hundred percent of your contributions go toward improving the lives of others. The funds will not be used for political purpose or electric bills.<\/p>\n Members can join Operation Round Up\u00ae at any time by calling 1-800-241-4109 or sending us an email at angie.brown@hartemc.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Through the collective giving by thousands of Hart EMC\u00a0members, a significant amount can be raised each year. Currently there are over 200 cooperatives in the nation participating and over 25 cooperatives in Georgia alone.
