Hart EMC strives to make the process of paying your bill as convenient as possible. We accept cash, money orders, checks, electronic checks, electronic payments using your bank’s online Bill Pay, and most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. In addition, we offer several methods of payment. We encourage our members to choose the option that best fits your needs.

By Phone

Our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system can take your payment using a Credit Card or E-Check.  To use the IVR you will need your account number(s) and the payment information in-hand. You can also check your balance with the IVR system.

July 1st, 2021. The move from taking you payments by phone with the help of one of our Members Service representatives to an IVR was necessary to increase the security of your payment information going forward.  Since Hart EMC takes payments by Payment Cards, that is Credit Cards and Debit Cards, we must follow the guidelines of the Payment Card Industry (PCI).  By following these guidelines, you can be assured that we are doing all that can be done to keep your sensitive information safe.

Auto-Pay

Do you ever worry that you may forget to make a payment?  Remove that stress today by setting up automatic monthly payments using a card or checking account through the customer portal.

How to set up Auto Pay:

  • Log in to the Member Portal
  • Choose the “Auto Pay” option from the payment menu
  • Enter your card or checking information
  • You can opt to pay on your due date or select another date, and your payment will process automatically each month
  • You will receive an email confirming your posted payment

Bank Draft

For your convenience, we offer a Bank Draft payment option.  When the proper form is completed, Hart EMC will automatically debit the member’s bank account for your monthly payment.  To download form click here.

Mobile App

The Hart EMC online billing app allows you to pay your bill from your phone. The app is available for both Android and iPhones. To learn more click here.

Online

Paying online is an option that more and more of our members are choosing today. Simply, go to our website (www.hartemc.com), log onto your account, and pay your bill. We accept electronic checks and most major debit and credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. This payment method allows members the convenience of paying their bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere that has an available Internet connection. Payments using this method are credited to the member’s account immediately upon completion of the transaction.

By Mail

If you choose this option, please be sure to include your stub in the provided envelope with your payment. Mail your payment to:

In Person

If you like the interaction with others, feel free to visit either of our locations and pay your bill in person. You may come inside or if you are in a hurry, do not hesitate to make use of our drive-thru. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Until further notice our lobby is closed due to health concerns related to Covid-19. (4/1/2021)

If you cannot make it to our office before 5:00 pm, we also offer a night depository. Be sure to always include your stub with your payment. Please keep in mind, we only accept checks or money orders, if you choose this option.
