Operation Round Up
Small Change Can Change Lives
How does Operation Round Up® work?
On average, you will contribute $6 a year — a small amount to help worthy causes in our community. It works out to be less than the cost of one soft drink, candy bar or cup of coffee a month. This small, monthly contribution can make a huge impact.
How will the money be used?
The Hart EMC Foundation was created to disperse the money collected by Operation Round Up®.
Request for assistance will be evaluated and grants awarded by a separate board of directors, made of volunteer members from Hart EMC counties.
The primary purpose of Operation Round Up® is to address the charitable needs and financial assistance anywhere in the counties served by Hart EMC. One hundred percent of your contributions go toward improving the lives of others. The funds will not be used for political purpose or electric bills.
How do I join?
Members of Hart EMC are automatically included in Operation Round Up®. If you choose not to participate, or if you want to discontinue your contribution, contact the Hart EMC office.
What are the benefits?
Through the collective giving by thousands of Hart EMC members, a significant amount can be raised each year. Currently there are over 200 cooperatives in the nation participating and over 25 cooperatives in Georgia alone. Remember, your contributions are tax deductible and will help someone’s life shine brighter.
